A popular feature offered by fish house manufacturers like Yetti is the option to upgrade from a single 30k BTU furnace to two 20k BTU forced air furnaces in their 21’ and larger fish house models.  

There are 2 distinct advantages of this feature. First, it provides a 2nd heat source and back-up if one of your furnaces goes down. Although only 1 of the 2, 20k BTU furnaces may not heat the house to 80 degrees, it should keep it warm enough to avoid an emergency situation.  
 

The second advantage is the dual furnace setup allows for zone heating. This means that the front and back of the house to operate at different temperatures for the ultimate comfort.
