HVAC SYSTEM: AC, Furnace System, and Optional iN•Command

Air Conditioner:

Your interior is equipped with a 13,500 BTU rooftop air conditioner unit. This unit is thermostatically controlled.

Note: The thermostat controls both the air conditioner and the furnace.

  1. Make sure the Yetti is plugged into a 120-volt source.
    • The thermostat is powered by 12 volts so a fuse will need to be intact and in place.
  2. Push the rectangular-shaped button until the desired mode shows up on the screen.
  3. Use triangular buttons to adjust the temperature.
    • Note: This thermostat has a 3-degree swing.
MODES:
  • FAN LO: Compressor will not kick on. The fan motor will continually run at a low speed.
  • FAN HI: Compressor will not kick on. The fan motor will continually run at a high speed.
  • COOL LO: Compressor will kick on/off based on the temperature setting. The fan motor will continually run at a low speed.
  • COOL HI: Compressor will kick on/off based on the temperature setting. The fan motor will continually run at a low speed.
  • COOL LO AUTO: Compressor/fan will run based on the temperature setting.
  • COOL HI AUTO: Compressor/fan will run based on the temperature setting.
  • HEAT: Furnace’s fan will kick on and attempt to light 3 times (if it isn’t successful, it will shut off). When it’s lit, it will blow warm air until the thermostat’s set temperature is reached. When reached, the furnace will blow the remaining warm out of its chamber before the fan shuts off.

Furnace System:

For additional information on your wheelhouse furnace system, you should read the Information Manual supplied with the furnace. Below are instructions in basic operation of a wheelhouse furnace.

  1. Turn the valve at the outside LP tank to the “OFF” position.
  2. Set thermostat above room temperature to begin blower operation.
    • A slight delay will occur before the blower comes on.
  3. Allow the blower to run for 5 minutes for the combustion chamber purge cycle.
    • If the blower does not come on or stops before the ignition cycle, shut down the unit and contact your dealer or a local recreational vehicle service agency.
  4. After 5 minutes, move the thermostat lever below room temperature.
    • The blower will remain on.
  5. Wait approximately 2 minutes for the blower to go off.
  6. Wait 5 minutes to clear out any gas, then smell for gas (including near the floor).
    • If you then smell gas, STOP!
      • Bring the Yetti to an authorized repair shop or contact your dealer. If you don’t smell gas, go to the next step.
  7. Open the valve at the outside LP tank.
      • Correct operating characteristics depend on the valve being positioned fully open.
      • Never attempt to operate with a valve partially closed.
  8. Set the thermostat lever to the desired setting.
      • If set above room temperature, the blower will come on.
  9. Allow 30 seconds for the main burner to light after the blower comes on.
      • This furnace is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the burner.
      • Do not try to light the burner by hand.
  10. If the burner does not light, repeat Steps 1 through 9.

If you try steps 1 through 9 THREE times with no ignition, shut down the furnace and contact your dealer or local recreational vehicle service agency. Do not continue to cycle the furnace through the thermostat to get ignition.

THERMOSTAT MODE SETTING:

Heat: Furnace’s fan will kick on and attempt to light 3 times (if it isn’t successful, it will shut off). When it’s lit, it will blow warm air until the thermostat’s set temperature is reached. When reached, the furnace will blow the remaining warm out of its chamber before the fan shuts off.

Operating iN•Command:

To access the a/c and heat settings, click “Heat/AC” on the home screen. It will bring up the screen below.

To set up a schedule, click “schedule” in the bottom lefthand corner. It will bring up a screen where you can set the temperature as well as the start and stop times.
